The book has foreword which has written by an eminent scholar Prof. Dr. Rafia Ahmed Sheikh now Pro-Vice Chancellor University of Sindh. She says ‘no such work existed prior to this (written by any other Pakistani writer), and thus I regard it as a pilot study and an original and comprehensive piece of work, where Mr. Siddiqui truly exhibits his competence. His expert handling of the progress made in the library scene in Pakistan deserves credit. It is one of my favorite books on Pakistan Librarianship.
