Violence and the Struggle for Existence

Today Americans find themselves in the midst of a crisis--a crisis of violence which threatens the existence of human life. Responding to the assassinations of Martin Luther King, Jr., and Robert F. Kennedy, the Committee on Violence at Stanford University School of Medicine embarked on an extensive examination of violence and its roots.
