Phila Rawlings Hach

Published in 1954. During her years as a stewardess for American Airlines Phila collected many unusual and famous recipes from people she met during her travels. The book is divided into 16 sections including: Foods from the Wild, Old Acquanintance Not Forgotten,Fireside foods and Calorie Counts and Budget Stretechers and Household Hints. There is not index. Recipes include cracker ball soup, flower sirup, old fashioned mincemeat, Old English Lavendar Sachet, whitewash and 13th century plum pudding. There is no index. My sister and I have to share our mother's copy. It is a treasure.
