Adam Tomaszewski is a Polish airman, flying Hurricanes alongside British pilots as the Battle of Britain rages in the summer skies over Kent and Sussex. Far from home and facing death daily Adam is drawn to a maverick Irish soldier called Gerry Cunningham.
