Four views on the church's mission

by John R. Franke

What is the mission of the church? Is it simply verbal proclamation of the gospel? What about social justice? Is the Kingdom of God related to the mission of the church? What is the gospel? These important questions and many more shape and are shaped by our understanding of the mission of the church. In the helpful Counterpoints format, this volume demonstrates unqiue theological frameworks, doctrinal convictions, and missiological conclusions that inform and distinguish the four varying views on the church's mission. --
