Jake's escape

On holiday in Peru, twelve-year-old Jake is captured by terrorists, the victim of mistaken identity. Imprisoned deep in the Amazon rainforest, armed with only his trusty pen-knife, Jake is determined to make a getaway. But beyond the terrorist camp in every direction lies the only vastness of the rainforest and all its unknown dangers. Suggested level: primary, intermediate.
