This title is the bigger followup to the successful publication Amsterdamse interieurs. This new publication illustrates the special interiors of homes in South Amsterdam from the period 1875-1945. The book devotes special attention to stucco ornaments, stained glass, panelling and bathroom interiors. It also shows the role of their present occupants as links in the chain of history.
