Lady Annaleigh of Bath, daughter of the Earl of Thorne, is about to begin her third season on the social scene. This year she will be sharing the limelight with her beautiful and vivacious younger sister, Roxanne. While Bath is not London, it still boasts a measure of "society on parade." Lady Julia, almost despairing of her older daughter making a match, is enthusiastically encouraged when Lord Lyndley, a newly titled earl (due to his father's passing), begins to seriously court her daughter, Lady Annaleigh.
