In recent decades, there have been various attempts in Scandinavian cities to create more creative urban spaces. But it is often about the use of standardized designs and staged play that is not based on the city dwellers themselves or is adapted to the lived life in the city. With improvisation as optics, the authors in this book look at how we in urban development and urban planning can create space for the unforeseen.
