Xavier Noiret-Thomé

Objekto brings together some fifty sculptural proposals by the French painter Xavier Noiret-Thomé based in Brussels (where the Centrale For Contemporary Art is devoting a duo exhibition to him with the Dutch artist Henk Visch from September 2 to January 18, 2021: catalog titled 'Panorama' (ISBN 978-2873175603) also published at La Lettre volée in preparation). These sculptures are often playful diversions of everyday objects - hence the title of the book - and each 'object' is commented on by a different personality from the world of the arts (artist friends, critics, writers, curators, etc. ) on the mode of the scholarly essay, the poem in Alexandrines, the pastiche with a preface by Judicaël Lavrador.
