Adolf Rading
As an architect and teacher at the Breslau Academy for Arts and Crafts, Adolf Rading (1888-1957) was one of the protagonists of New Building in the Weimar Republic. His projects, his writings and his commitment to cultural policy inspired students and colleagues. In the Werkbundsiedlung in Stuttgart in 1927, Adolf Rading was represented with a model house. The Werkbund exhibition Apartment and Workroom (WuWA), with which Breslau distinguished itself as a modern city in 1929, was the result of his initiative.
