Life and selected artwork of gifted painter Carlos Federico Sáez (Mercedes 1878- Montevideo 1901), a talented disciple of artist Juan Manuel Blanes. Sáez gained a scholarship at the age of fourteen in Italy where he was studying art. The artist fell ill during his return back home and passed away at the young age of 22.
