Study of origins, history and current state of ritual dance performed by Teenek people of San Luis Potosí, whereby dancers called voladores perform hanging upside down in midair as they unreel from 30-meter tall pole. Concentrates on interviews with and life stories of various dancers and community members involved in performance for generations. Illustrated with historic images of voladores along with contemporary photographs of performers and their dance.
