The Community of African descendant of the Council of the Community Chansara sits in an ecological territory in the municipality of Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé in Nariño. It is part of the settlements of villages and "Aldehuelas" at the edge of river in the Colombian Pacific. Within this context, a proposal of designing a bioclimatic, sustainable and sustainable habitats is made: "An Ecovillage" taking into account the tradition, culture and the territory of the community and is replicable in other community councils.
