Published in conjuntion with the Cure and Care exhibition, this book looks at the evolution of Finnish hospital and health care architecture through architectural competitions arranged from the late 1800s through to the present day. Hospital architecture invariably reflects the prevailing health and welfare of its era. A long timeline maps out changes in public attitudes and the changing role played by architecture in shaping future the future of healthcare.
