Miró & CoBrA' investigates the relationship between Joan Miró and the CoBrA movement. Two of the movement's originators, Constant Nieuwenhuys and Asger Jorn, first met each other at a Miró exhibition in Paris. At the last real CoBrA exhibition, held in 1951 in Liège, Miró's work hung side by side with Appel's. Miró has been a leitmotiv in the CoBrA movement's history, from the very beginning.
