The Exhibition "Kunst im Werden" gives insights into the design work and thoughts of 18 leading artists of the Fine Arts class of the Sächsischen Akademie der Künste (H. Ebersbach, W. Förster, E. Göschel, G. Graubner, R. Kerbach, G. Lepke, W. Libuda, U. Lindner, M. Morgner, C. Nicolai, O. Osten, T. Richter, C. Schleime, J. Schön, G. Schulze Eldowy, Strawalde, G. Uecker, M. Uhlig). The exhibition shows how the artists think ahead, plan and experiment with the help of drawing, painting, graphic, literary or photographic media. It shows how a work is developed systematically and that it can be just as meaningful to spontaneously act on impulse. But the works in this exhibition also refer to doubt, correction and rejection.
