The joint presentation of Astrid Nippold's films accompanied by painted installations by Hansjörg Dobliar at the Villa Merkel in Esslingen (28.6.-16.8.2009) showcases two eminently complimentary positions that - following in the footsteps of Romantic traditions - call into question the boundaries of the visual image's rational disposability.
