"The idea of an anthology of poems centred on Manukau City grew out of poetry readings hosted by the Manukau Libraries Central Research Library, and the evidence that many people in the city were writing poetry or were interested in listening to it. The Manukau Library system agreed to place the growing anthology on-line (www.manukau-libraries.govt.nz/whatwehave/poetry). This print version includes work by 34 poets." -- Foreword.
