병자호란 때 척화斥和를 주장하다가 심양瀋陽에서 죽은 홍익한洪翼漢ㆍ윤집尹集ㆍ오달제吳達濟의 약전과 언행을 수록한 책이다. 1671년(현종 12) 송시열(宋時烈, 1607-1689)이 지었다. 원문이 『송자대전宋子大全』 권113에도 수록되어 있다. 춘추대일통春秋大一統의 의리를 강조하여 진정한 정통은 명明이기 때문에 청淸과 강화하거나 항복할 수 없다는 존주론尊周論이 핵심 내용이다. 숙종 어제의 서문이 있다.
