Survey of state residential child care and treatment institutions in Kansas
"Between January and June, 1955, the survey team of three consultants to the Director of Institutions and the State Board of Social Welfare made visits to the seven state institutions, providing residential care to children. The objective was to recommend an organizational structure for the new Treatment Center for Children most consistent with the total institutional child care program and based on an analysis of exising institutions. The survey included: Kansas Children's Home, Kansas Receiving Home for Children, Girls' Industrial School, Boys' Industrial School, Parsons State Training School, Winfield State Training School, and the Children's Section, Topeka State Hospital"--Introduction.
