Another special tabulation of data from the 1970 Census and Federal Office of of Revenue Sharing, prepared by DUALabs, Inc., is available from ICPSR (see ICPSR 0070). These data record selected Fifth Count population and housing characteristics for all of the 38,529 governmental units eligible for the Revenue Sharing Program in Entitlement Period #1. In addition, the file also contains information on the funds returned to these local governments. The data can be supplied in various formats on magnetic tape. These charges are intended to recover, in part, the large expenditure of ICPSR operating budget funds which are expended to purchase and disseminate the 1980 Census data. Members will be charged per data file, plus the cost of the reel of tape which the ICPSR will supply.
