Bibliographic survey of social and economic aspects of regional fisheries development in Atlantic Canada, divided into background readings; ethnographic studies on fishermen, fishing communities and resource exploitation; relations between producers and processors and fishermen's organizations; and response and adaptation to technological and policy changes. Regional information services for Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick are included, as are recommendations to facilitate access in the future.
