Elements of Literature for Christian Schools is divided into three major units. In "The Marks of Literature" we will learn about attributes common to all great literature: imaginative comparison (such as metaphor, personification, synecdoche); sound and syntax (rhyme, alliteration, consonance); and thought and theme (organization, symmetry, parallelism).
