Wolf Girl of the Santa Ynez

Ash Steward, a young cowboy hears of a wild, redheaded girl who's hair resembles living flames, who runs with a savage wolf pack in the Santa Ynez mountains of southern California, and vows to find her. He encounters six large, killer Mexican bandidos, who are hunting for the Wolf Girl, and they nearly kill the cowboy. A large and very unfriendly male grizzly bear almost does the same. Something called Deathwind mysteriously kills while making strange sounds, like a death-wind moaning through the trees. All of this happens while Ash Steward is trying to escape the memories of things gone wrong on his ranch, and he's trying to get away.
